Fourth Sunday of Easter

Welcome and thank you to all who have joined us today for this Eucharistic Celebration.
Today we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter .
Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Javier Saldana, Judy Doeden, Briget Kleiss, Mary Ann Anderson, Fred Zemke, Karen Leader, Hart Williamson, Ernie Saldana, Jim and Debbie Benjamin, Jim and Kay Brown, Loretta Alt, Father Ignatius and Father Ted and all parishioners suffering from illnesses as well as those listed in our weekly parish bulletin.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Glenna Diskin. A funeral Mass will be at St. Anthony’s on Friday, May 1 at 1:15 PM. Glenna will be buried in Rankin. A meal will be served in the parish hall at 3:30 following the interment.
Congratulations to Father Ted who celebrated his 60th Anniversary as a priest on Thursday, April 23. Also, Congratulations to Dan and Madge Silver who celebrated their 71st Wedding Anniversary on the same day!
If you have not yet had your photo taken for our parish directory, you have one more opportunity next following the 9AM Mass on Sunday.
First Communion Mass will be next Sunday, May 3 at 9AM. Please join us for a reception for the First Communion and newly confirmed individuals immediately following Mass. Breakfast and cake will be served.
Don’t forget about Bingo on Tue April 28. Doors open at 5pm.
Coffee & Rosary May 19 at 9:15am.
CCD & Adult Bible study will be Wed. April 29 at normal times. Thursday Apr. 23 adoration is 9 am to 10 am.
St. Anthony’s is participating in the Hoopeston city-wide garage sale on June 6-7. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Hall starting May 21 from noon to four. After that, donations can be dropped on Mon., Wed. and Thurs. from noon to four.
Nominations are being accepted for the Annual Service Award and the Lifetime Service Award. Forms are at the back of the church and may be put in the collection basket.
There some parishes that are reserving busses to attend the Beatification of Fulton Sheen in St. Louis. Contact Debbie if you would like to head a group to do this.
St. Anthony Parish is launching a new Evangelization Committee & we are looking for volunteers who want to help. To help, contact Andrew Lane at 765-505-2558.
