Mission and Visa Expense Raffle
A raffle is being held to benefit Father Leonard’s mission and help with Father Ignatius’s legal expenses for renewing his visa.
Freedom Luncheon — July 23
The Freedom Luncheon will be held Thursday, July 24, at noon at the Mottsett Center. Please let Debbie know if you would like to carpool. This will be a good opportunity to meet others from our merged parish.
Bingo — July 28
The next Bingo will be Tuesday, July 28. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and games begin at 6:00 p.m. Join us for fun and fellowship. Food will be available for purchase.
History of the Diocese Book
The book published by the Diocese of Peoria about the history of the Diocese has arrived at the parish office. We have 20 copies available for $39 each. Please call the office if you would like to purchase one.
Women’s Connect Day of Reflection — August 1
A Women’s Connect Day of Reflection will be held Saturday, August 1, at Holy Family Church in Danville. First Saturday devotions, including the Rosary and Mass, will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Day of Reflection will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by 2:30 p.m.
Coffee & Rosary — July 21
The next Coffee & Rosary will be Tuesday, July 21. Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Parish Volunteers Needed
Please consider becoming a lector, Eucharistic minister, or altar server. There is a real need for volunteers in our parish.
Parish Picnic — August 1
The Parish Picnic will be held Saturday, August 1, immediately following the 5:00 p.m. Mass at the Parish Hall. Chicken from Kirby Foods deli and lemonade will be provided. Everyone is asked to bring a side dish. A sign-up sheet will be available at the back of the church soon.
Catholic Kidz Camp — July 20–24
Catholic Kidz Camp will be held July 20–24 at Holy Family Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Please call 217-431-5100 or text 217-249-7124 to register. The fee is $20 per family and may be paid on the first day.
