St. Anthony’s Announcements

Fifth  Sunday in Ordinary Time

  • February 8, 2026
     Good evening/ Good Morning! Thank you to all who have joined us today for this Eucharistic Celebration. 

  • Today we celebrate The Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time.   The readings begin on page 67.  

  • Today we welcome Latina Shadley and Max Boswell in the Rite of Entrance into the Catechumenate.

  • Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Malida Zarate, Fred Zemke, Cookie Spivey, Karen Leader, Hart Williamson, Suzanne Lambert, Nora Wise,  Maria Schieler,  Ernie Saldana, Jim and Debbie Benjamin,  Jim and Kay Brown, Loretta Alt, Father Ignatius and Father Ted and all parishioners suffering from the flu and other viruses as well as those listed in our weekly parish bulletin.

  • Thank you to all who joined us for the movie David.  We had 99 attendees. 

  • Faith Formation students should sign the attendance sheet in the back of the church when they attend Mass.

  • The next Coffee & Rosary will be Tues. Feb. 17th at 9:15 in the Parish Hall. Everyone is invited to participate and light refreshments will be served.

  • CCD, OCIA, and Bible study classes will be Wed. Feb. 11 at normal times

  • Latina Shadley & Max Boswell will be joining St. Anthony’s at Easter Vigil and will be introduced this Sunday at 9 am Mass. The first part of Mass will be the Rite of Entrance into the Catechumenate.

  • Mark your calendars for Tuesday Feb. 17 for the Mardi Gras/Jambalaya Dinner being served from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Tickets available at the door or in advance.

  • Ash Wednesday service will be Feb. 18th at 5:30pm.

  • The Penance Services will be Monday March 23 at St. Mary’s Westville, Tuesday March 24 at Holy Family and Wed. March 25 at St. Anthony’s. Times to follow later.

  • Don’t forget about Bingo on Tues. Feb. 10th and Feb. 24th. Doors open at 5pm and Bingo starts at 6pm. There will be Sandwiches, chips, pop, tea, popcorn and baked goods. Please contact Debbie if you would like to donate baked goods. Join the FUN.

  • Thank you to all who were present at Father Ignatius Birthday breakfast. It was great food, fun and fellowship.

  • This weekend will be loose change collection for St. Vincent de Paul.

  • Please have a Mass said for your loved ones. We are low on Mass Intentions.
