Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Good evening/ Good Morning! Thank you to all who have joined us today for this Eucharistic Celebration.
Today we celebrate The Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The readings begin on page 69.
Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Malida Zarate, Fred Zemke, Cookie Spivey, Karen Leader, Hart Williamson, Suzanne Lambert, Nora Wise, Maria Schieler, Ernie Saldana, Jim and Debbie Benjamin, Jim and Kay Brown, Loretta Alt, Father Ignatius and Father Ted and all parishioners suffering from the flu and other viruses as well as those listed in our weekly parish bulletin.
Events for this coming week:
Tuesday, February 17 Mardi Gras Party 4:30-7:00.
Wednesday, February 18 Ash Wednesday Mass at 5:30pm. Faith Formation students and families should meet at the church. There will be no morning mass on that day.
Faith Formation students should sign the attendance sheet in the back of the church when they attend Mass.
The next Coffee & Rosary will be Tues. Feb. 24th at 9:15 in the Parish Hall. Everyone is invited to participate and light refreshments will be served. The date is changed because the Hall will be set up for the Mardi Gras Dinner on Feb. 17.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday Feb. 17 for the Mardi Gras/Jambalaya Dinner being served from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Tickets available at the door or in advance.
Ash Wednesday service will be Feb. 18th at 5:30pm.
The Penance Services will be Monday March 23 at St. Mary’s Westville, Tuesday March 24 at Holy Family and Wed. March 25 at St. Anthony’s. Times to follow later.
Don’t forget about Bingo on Tues. Feb. 24th and March 10. Doors open at 5pm and Bingo starts at 6pm. There will be Sandwiches, chips, pop, tea, popcorn and baked goods. Please contact Debbie if you would like to donate baked goods. Join the FUN.
We are need of Mass Intentions. Please consider having a Mass for your loved ones.
The new Parish Council is: Brandon Smith, Pres., Eric Layden, VP, Debbie Benjamin ,Sec., Yolanda Pemberton, Becky Martinez , Danny Lugo, Linda Sheppard, Nora Wise, Lisa Lukas, & Tom Kasallis, Fr. Ignatius and Fr. Ted. Next meeting March 5th at 6pm in the Parish Hall.
