St. Anthony’s Announcements

Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

January 18, 2026

Good evening/ Good Morning! Thank you to all who have joined us today for this Eucharistic Celebration.  Welcome to visitors, guests and parishioners.

Today we celebrate The Second Sunday in Ordinary Time.   The readings begin on page 61.

Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Cookie Spivey, Karen Leader, Hart Williamson, Suzanne Lambert, Nora Wise,  Maria Schieler,  Ernie Saldana, Jim and Debbie Benjamin,  Jim and Kay Brown, Loretta Alt, Father Ignatius and Father Ted and all parishioners suffering from the flu and other viruses as well as those listed in our weekly parish bulletin.

There are some changes in Spanish Mass in January.  Spanish Mass will be on the 18th and 25th. February Mass remains the same on the second and the fourth Sundays of the month.

The next Coffee and Rosary will be Tuesday, January 20 at 9:15 in the parish hall. Everyone is welcome.

Don’t miss out!  On Wednesday, February 4,  at 5:00PM, The Lorraine Theatre will be doing a private showing of the movie, David, for St. Anthony’s Faith formation classes as well as all St. Anthony’s  parishioners, their families and friends.  All tickets will be $6.00 a person. We hope everyone will join us for this special showing.  The story that will be depicted in the movie can be found in the Bible in  First Samuel, Chapters 16-17. (1 Samuel:16-17)

Envelopes and calendars are in back for your pick up after Mass.  If you can not find an envelope pack for your family, please let Debbie know.

Just a reminder, Faith Formation students should sign the attendance sheet in the back of the church when they attend Mass.
