St. Anthony’s Announcements
33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
November 15-16, 2025
Welcome to visitors, guests and parishioners. If you are attending St. Anthony’s regularly but have not registered as a member, we invite you to complete the registration form in the brochure rack in the back of the church. Or you can stop in or call Debbie in the office.
Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Pat Northam, Suzanne Lambert, Nora Wise, Glenna Diskin, Maria Schieler, Salvador Mendez Gonzalez, Lovelynn McNew, Ernie Saldana, Lupe Martinez, Bill and Cookie Spivey, Jim and Debbie Benjamin, Jim and Kay Brown, Loretta Alt, Father Ignatius and Father Ted and all those listed in our weekly parish bulletin.
The Jubilee of the poor and the ninth World Day of the Poor will be observed this weekend in the Vatican and throughout the world. St. Anthony’s will be participating in Meals in a Bag Fooddrive sponsored by the Parlour on Market. All food will be donated to Hoopeston Food Cupboard. If you would like to donate money instead of food, there are white envelopes in the pews. Just write “food cupboard” on the envelope and place it in the offertory basket. We will be taking donations through the month of November.
There also are envelopes in your pews for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Donations will support those living on the margins.
Thank you for your donations to St. Vincent de Paul last weekend. Our funds are getting depleted quickly so every dollar helps!
The Liturgy Meeting will meet on Monday, November 17 at 6 PM in the Parish Hall.
The next Coffee and Rosary will be Tuesday, November 18 at 9:15 in the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome.
This weekend on Sunday, the Knights of Columbus will be serving breakfast from 8 am to 12:30 PM at the Motsett Center.
